Where is Quinta da Arrábida located?

Quinta da Arrábida is a private 11-hectare estate inside the Arrábida Natural Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in Setúbal, Portugal. It is 45 minutes south of Lisbon by car (~50 km) and 15 minutes from Portinho da Arrábida and Galapinhos beaches.

How many houses are available?

Four restored Portuguese country houses: Manor House (sleeps 6), Wood Oven House I (sleeps 2), Wood Oven House II (sleeps 4), Pine Tree House (sleeps 4). The whole estate can be booked for up to 16 guests.

Is the estate family-friendly?

Yes. Fully fenced, two swimming pools (one heated), forest trails, vegetable garden, resident donkeys, sheep and chickens. Cots, high-chairs and baby monitors provided free on request.

How do I get there from Lisbon Airport?

45 minutes south by car via the A2 motorway and 25 de Abril bridge. Private airport transfers arranged on request. Public transport: Lisbon to Setúbal train (~50 min) plus a 15-minute taxi.

What is the best time of year to visit?

April to October for swimming and peak Arrábida colours. May-June and September are ideal: warm, less crowded, vineyards in full leaf, dolphin-watching season. December-February is mild (15-18°C), perfect for hiking and wine tourism.
